We love spinach! This vegetable, often disliked by children, can nevertheless be used in a whole bunch of recipes: quiches, lasagnes... Spinach is an excellent source of vitamins, iron and calcium and, once cooked, you can use it in many recipes! Today we will look at a cooking method that preserves all its nutrients: pan-frying! You can also use them as a quick side dish by adding a drizzle of oil and salt :-)
Wash the spinach, removing any remaining soil and removing the tough stems.
Place the spinach in a colander and rinse with cold water.
Pour the spinach (still wet) into a pan.
Cover and cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
And there you are, the spinach is ready! You can use it for your recipes (pie, quiche, omelette) or season it with oil and salt to serve as a side dish.
