EASTER CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Snacks

Easter has come and gone, leaving behind dozens of little eggs and other chocolate treats! Even though we've eaten quite a bit, there are still many left... But what to do with leftover Easter chocolates?! We propose a simple recipe: Easter egg cookies! Like little nests where your treats can snuggle in for a second life :-) Both kids and adults will love them! We leave you with our written and video recipe explaining all the steps in detail!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz butter, softened
  • 4 oz brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 16 colored chocolate Easter eggs (minimum)

Materials

  • Baking paper

Preparation

  • Step 1:

Mix the softened butter with the brown sugar. Add the whole egg and the vanilla extract. Then, incorporate the salt, flour, and baking powder to form a dough ball.

  • Step 2:

Break off pieces of dough and roll them into small balls (about 16). Place them on baking paper. Bake for 25 minutes at 140°C (280°F).

  • Step 3:

Remove the cookies from the oven and press the eggs into them (they should still be warm). Let the cookies cool for about 10 to 15 minutes. The chocolates will be gooey when you eat them!

  • Step 4:

    It's ready!
