BAKED FRENCH TOAST WITH PRINK PRALINES TOPPING

Let's make baked French toasts ! The easiest and laziest way to prepare breakfast !

Ingredients

  • 5 slices sandwich bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 big tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp pink pralines

Materials

  • Mould 5.5 x 8.5 inches (14x22 cm)

Preparation

  • Step 1:

    Combine eggs, cream, milk, vanilla and brown sugar. Pour half of the batter in a mould.

  • Step 2:

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Fold the sandwich bread slices and put them side by side in the mould.

  • Step 3:

    Pour the rest of the batter on top of the bread. Sprinkle some pink pralines on top. You can also add more brown sugar and sprinkle it on top.

  • Step 4:

    If the bread is dry, place the mould in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. ➤ You can make this recipe the day before and leave to soak during one night in the fridge (wrapped with plastic wrap).

  • Step 5:

    If you use fresh bread : bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

  • Step 6:

    Remove from oven, serve and enjoy !
