AVOCADO TOAST WITH POACHED EGG

For a savory breakfast, brunch, or appetizer, avocado toasts are always a great idea ;-) Easy and quick to make, make them even more irresistible by adding a poached egg on top! However, beware! As soon as you finish your slice, you'll want to devour another one right away! You've been warned...

Ingredients

  • bowl, fork, saucepan

Preparation

  • Step 1:

    Mash the 1/2 avocado in a bowl with olive oil and a pinch of salt using a fork.

  • Step 2:

    Crack an egg into a bowl and set aside. Boil water in a pan with a dash of vinegar. In the simmering water, create a whirlpool with a fork and gently pour in the egg. Cook for 4 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  • Step 3:

    Toast the slice of bread. Spread the avocado mash on top and place the poached egg on it.

  • Step 4:

    Finish by sprinkling some sesame seeds on top. Cut the poached egg in half; the yolk should be runny. Enjoy!
